Evoke staff have been involved in the proposed development of (initially) approximately 400 residential units and accompanying uses for a number of years. Initial support included promotion of the site within the (now withdrawn) West of England Joint Spatial Plan, and following that a planning application was submitted at the site as part of the evidence base.
Whilst the WoE JSP is now withdrawn, support is ongoing and has recently included detailed discussions with Highways England (National Highways) regarding strategic road improvements, alongside other local developers and South Gloucestershire Council, Stroud District Council and Gloucestershire County Council.
